A highlight of our June ThrYve Systems and Youth Collaborative meeting was celebrating the accomplishments of youth involved in ThrYve Change Lever Projects. Throughout the year, young people identified issues they care about and turned their ideas into action.
From anti-bullying and anti-littering campaigns to community cleanups, food drives, violence prevention efforts, and youth-led forums, ThrYve Youth Advisory Board members worked to create positive change in their schools and neighborhoods.
What made these projects so impactful was that they were led by youth every step of the way. They identified community needs, developed solutions, and took action to make a difference. Their leadership, creativity, and commitment remind us that young people are not just future leaders; they are leaders today.
