By providing events like Mock Interview Day\, they empower teens to recognize and leverage their unique abilities\, fostering a sense of self-assurance and readiness for the workforce. \nDuring Mock Interview Day\, participants will have the opportunity to engage in simulated job interviews with various Kansas City professionals. Through constructive feedback and guidance from professionals\, they will gain valuable insights into effective communication\, professional conduct\, and interview techniques\, setting them on a path towards fulfilling employment opportunities.

SUMMARY:3rd Annual KCKPD Community Peace Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join Chief Karl Oakman and the men and women of the KCKPD as they walk with residents and community leaders as a sign of unity in the fight against crime in our neighborhoods. \nParticipants are asked to gather on the southeast corner of 5th and Washington Boulevard in time for the 11 AM start. The short\, 1/2 mile\, walk is suitable for all ages and follows a level route north on 5th Street to Parallel Parkway. The walk will end with a rally and cook-out\, as well as a vehicle display and information tables. \nBring your family and neighbors. Youth groups welcome! Meet your officers. A shuttle bus will be provided for those not able to walk the route.
