While reform attempts exist—for example\, “conviction integrity units” in the offices of\nDistrict Attorneys—they rarely consider the broader effects of the criminal legal system on\nfamilies\, neighborhoods\, and communities. Our goal is not just to “improve” the system\, but to\nshrink its overall footprint. We want to hear from YOU about the reforms that YOU would like to\nprioritize for change. \nPlease come to Vera’s 2.5-hour remote information session (via Zoom) on Friday\, January 15\, 2021\,\n3:30-6pm CST.
